Not everything that is faced can be changed; but nothing can be changed until it is faced. James Baldwin, “As Much Truth as One Can Bear,” 1962
Over the last weeks, we’ve shared videos from our conference roundtable sessions - they’re all available for viewing anytime on our YouTube page. Those of you who have tuned in know that during a rich 75 minute discussion there’s a lot to take in. We knew that too, and so to help our in-person attendees digest the panels in real time we brought in Greg Gersch to provide graphic note-taking — or what Greg called graphic distillation — of the roundtable exchanges. Not only did Greg’s work provide us with a real time recording of our conversations; he provided a dynamic focal point for our wrap-up, during which we used his beautifully rich images as a way to reflect on the day. Thanks to Greg for his care with our ideas.
Enjoy!
